If there is no parking
in the streets or alleys where do my visitors park? Parking is not allowed on our private streets,
in our alleys, on any grass, on the concrete curb, against berms, or in front of
mail boxes. Please use your driveway, Island Place East, or the
parking lots located throughout the neighborhood. Please use
flashers for temporary loading and unloading in front of your home. Visitors may park in the
designated spaces marked guest or in owners' available parking spot/garage/driveway
or anywhere on Island Place. Homeowners are not permitted to habitually park in
spots marked guest.
Allowing homeowners to park in our lots is a privilege, not an
entitlement. Do not use the lots for storing non-working vehicles,
boats, trailers, campers, BBQ rigs, etc. Anything other than a
working vehicle will be subject to towing at the owner's expense. If towed, contact River City Towing for location of your vehicle. When are my HOA Dues due?
The $900 dues are
payable in one lump sum and must be received by January 31st of each
year. Homeowners are delinquent if
dues have not been received by Jan 31st each year. As of
February 1st the payment is considered late and will be assessed a
one-time late charge of 10%. In addition to the late charge, the
delinquent homeowner will be fined a $50 fee for each additional
month that the payment is overdue.
What if my street light
doesn't work? Street lights must remain on and operational during hours of darkness, by a photocell 365 days a year. Please don't tamper with the photocell. If your light is not working properly, please notify Keith Collins Company and tell them you live in Island View and need a street light repaired.
No exterior changes or additions should be made to your home without prior approval by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC). This includes painting your house, re-roofing, constructing fences, adding landscaping, swimming pools, tv or radio antennas, or satellite dishes. Please submit your request in writing and the ACC will respond within 30 days. No approval is needed if you are repainting or reroofing your house with the same color or shingle.
The covenants state that
window treatments must be lined and completed so that the only color
visible from the exterior of the home is white or off white. Can my pets run free? No. Pets must be controlled and curbed. Poop stations are throughout the neignborhood. Please clean up after pets and minimize excessive barking. Can I park my boat or four-wheeler in my driveway? No. The covenants state that
no recreational vehicles or commercial vehicles, including but not
limited to boats, boat trailers, house trailers, camping trailers,
motorcycles, pick-up trucks, or similar type items shall be kept
other than in the garage or otherwise screened from the view of
neighbors or the streets.
What does our lawn service do?
The lawn service will
cut and edge homeowners' yards and common areas during the growing
season. Homeowners are responsible for maintaining their lots in a
neat and attractive manner. Weeds and dead vegetation should be

What do I do if my irrigation
system is not working properly? If your irrigation is leaking or not functioning properly, call Foster Irrigation at (901) 598-4675 or let the board know via email. and tell them you live in Island View and need your irrigation system repaired.
